Open Positions for Post-doctoral Scholars

Wiess and Pan Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships

Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences (EEPS) at Rice University offers a department wide post-doctoral fellowship competition. Starting at 2018-19 two post-doctoral fellowships are expected to be awarded each year - Wiess Post-doctoral Research Fellowship and Pan Post-doctoral Research Fellowship. Both domestic and international applicants are encouraged to apply, but applicants must have a Ph.D. awarded within three years of the time of appointment. This fellowship competition requires the eligible candidate to develop an independent research proposal. ExPeRT encourages post-doctoral researcher candidates with innovative ideas that align with the group’s broad research interests to apply. Research ideas that span across various faculty interests and expertise in EEPS are encouraged although not a requirement.

To find out more information about this fellowship competition and application deadline, please visit the EEPS website with the fellowship information.
